For the occasion of my series of wasp paper panels and wasps’ nests travelling to Co. Clare for an exhibition as part of the Mountshannon Festival the end of May, I came up with five more panels – Appendices A to E – to extend that series of “My Friend Wasp’s Window” consisting of three initial panels and three free hanging sculptures.
And that’s what it all looks like against the freshly painted white walls – the three little sculptures and eight panels:
Mountshannon Festival runs from 31.May to 10. June, exhibitions will open though on Saturday evening, the 2. June and will be open the two weekends and bank holiday Monday.
